He also termed the meeting of BJP Manipur Pradesh delegation with the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh separately without the all party delegation as ‘uncivilised’. Deputy Chief Minister was addressing media persons before leaving for New Delhi at his official quarter in Babupara today. Gaikhangam said it would have made an impact in case the all political party delegation had met the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh. He said all the political party must unite and stand together for a positive response and to make their mission successful. Gaikhangam said it would have been easier to get an appointment in case the BJP Manipur Pradesh had seeked it from the Central leaders as the BJP led NDA govt is in power in the Centre. Clarifying the accusation from the opposition BJP, Gaikhangam claimed that the Chief Minister Office had earlier seeked appointment with Prime Minister. Speaking regarding the arrest of students during ILPS stir, Gaikhangam gave assurance that all the students will be released before June 10.
