5th PK Films’ Production ‘Nangna Kappa Pakchade’ has been selected for 3rd Delhi International Film Festival organised by NMDC and Delhi Tourism from December 20 to 27. 

PK Films in a press release said the script and screenplay of the film was written by MK Binodini and directed by Makhonmani Mongsaba. 

BJP National General Secretary, Shyam Jaju has maintained that the centre will take up appropriate action over those involved in corruption in Manipur after proper investigation. Speaking to the reporters in connection with the nation wide mega drive for enrolment of BJP members today at BJP Manipur Pradesh office, he said the central govt has received detailed information of corruption indulged by the Manipur Govt. 

He further said Narendra Modi has a lot of concern for the people of North East. Special package will be given for North East region during the upcoming budget session.The people of North East will definitely realised the promise of Prime minister Narendra Modi. The party in an effort to make Manipur a corruption free state will do whatever it need to achieve it. 

 

Speaking on the occasion, State unit President, Th Chaoba said BJP got over 65.67 crore votes in the recent Lok Sabha election. Moreover, the party has 3.5 crore members all over India. The party has given easy options of joining the party through mobile phone and online service. The state unit has set a target to enrol about one lakh new members of the party. He also appealed to enrol as party member to free the state from corrupted Congress Govt and to bring about a new Manipur. 

A one-day Lecture Programme on crime against women and child was held today at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace Compound. The lecture programme was organised by Apunba Manipur Kanba Lup (AMKIL). Different resource persons spoke on the crime against women and children. 

AMKIL Secretary, Laishram Gyaneshori said the programme was organised to sort out a means to check crime against women and children which is increasing day by day in the state.

Three-day Start-Up Weekend concluded today

The three-day Start-Up Weekend organised with the objective to produce entrepreneurs concluded today at Manipur University. The program was jointly organised by Nibia Consultancy, Dynamic Manipur, North American Manipuri Association and Manipur Institute of Management Studies. 

During the three-day event, various knowledge on how to become a successful entrepreneurs were imparted. On the last day today participants were given the opportunity to expose their talents. 

Co-Organizer,  Aeroshil Nameirakpam said the the three day event was a great success. Another Co-Organizer Nickson Sharma said they got many useful suggestions and feedback from the participants. He assured of holding such event in future to impart skill and knowledge to budding entrepreneurs of the state.

Rasheshwori Pala felicitated

Rasheshwori Pala, which has shown various performances at Rangoon, was felicitated today at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai. The team left for Rangoon on October 5. The team visited Myanmar with the objective of preserving our art and culture and to integrate Manipuris staying in Myanmar. 

Speaking on the occasion, R K Shivachandra, President of Indo-Myanmar Fraternal Alliance said the objective of the cultural team was to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Manipur to the international community. 

During the tour, Rasheshwori Pala were performed at Meetei inhabited areas of Myanmar. He further said Consulate General of Myanmar will take part in the inaugural function of Sangai Festival to be held on November 21.
