Imphal, May 5, 2016 : Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh today inaugurated 33/11KV Sub-Power Station at Ushoipokpi. The Sub-Power Station, commissioned later than the scheduled time, will provide electricity to around 1,500 households around Ushoipokpi. The Sub-Power Station is constructed by Gurgaon based company M/S Shyam Power India Limited under the supervision of Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited- MSPDCL at the cost of Rs 3 crore and 50 Lakh. Wabagai MLA Fajur Rahman, Thoubal DC, officials of police and other departments attended the function. Speaking at the event, MSPDCL Executive Director L. Priyokumar appealed to the employees of the Sub-Power Station to provide electricity to the people of Ushoipokpi at the earliest.
