CM KHEMCHAND ANNOUNCES LAND FOR PERMANENT NIT MANIPUR CAMPUS Featured

Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand today announced that Manipur Government will soon allot land for the establishment of a permanent campus for National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur. He made the announcement while addressing the 13th Convocation of NIT Manipur held at City Convention Centre in Palace Compound. The Chief Minister said NIT Manipur, as an institution of national importance, will play a key role in transforming the state into a developed and empowered region. He urged the graduating students to contribute to the progress of Manipur and the nation and to actively participate in the vision of Viksit Bharat and Viksit Manipur by 2047. A total of 299 students were awarded degrees, including 206 B.Tech, 38 M.Tech, 24 M.Sc and 31 Ph.D graduates. Six outstanding students received the Institute Gold Medal and the Chairman’s Gold Medal for their academic excellence.
