Imphal, 11 November 2016 ( Evening News ) : Due to the indefinite economic blockade called by the United Naga Council (UNC) on National Highways, Oil pumps in and around Imphal has been closed. Although there were long queues across oil pumps a few days back, they have now been shut down since they are out of stock. However, petrol is still available in the black market at Rs 150 to 200 per litre. Number of private vehicles plying on the road has reduced. It may also be recalled that, All Manipur School Students’ Transport Association had already made an announcement to stop the school van service from today.
