Imphal, 14 May 2017 ( Evening News ) : Candidates and Guardians have appealed to the Govt to hold the Viva-Voce for candidates who have passed the written and typing test for the 217 posts of Office Assistant of directorate of Education (S) held last year. Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club today, chairman of All Manipur Education (S) Office Assistant Written & Typing Test 2016 Successful Candidates & Guardian Association, Waikhom Ingochouba said the written test was held on October 16 and the results were announced on November 23. Around 19 thousand candidates had appeared in the test. Typing test was held from December 1 to 3. He said though the results of the written test were announced, the viva voce was not held after the Model Code Of Conduct came into force. Till now the govt has not announced the date for the viva voce. Ingochouba appealed to the Govt to complete the unfinished job of the previous Govt. He also said the association will also urge the Chief Minister tomorrow during the “Meeyamgi-Numit” meet.
